Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Governor’s Executive Order continues to keep New Jersey sheltered in place and COSMOPOLITAN continues to work with all those planning special events to reschedule their celebrations to later dates in 2020 and early 2021.
While the State of New Jersey is maintaining strict social distancing guidelines, wedding venues and catering halls are currently only allowed to have outdoor events. Unfortunately, we continue to be prohibited from having indoor events at this time. Therefore, the staff of COSMOPOLITAN is doing our best to accommodate all of our events to the best of our abilities. We are confident that we will get through the pandemic and look forward to hosting successful events with all of our loyal customers.
We do ask for patience from those with planned an event with us here at COSMOPOLITAN, as we navigate these difficult times. This particularly is true for those who have had to postpone events during the past five months and for those planning events in the fall of this year whose dates have not been canceled yet by an extension of Governor Murphy’s Executive Order.
In having no firm date from state government about when all event venues can open for indoor events, we are currently extending the option to our customers of doing their events outdoors and we are even working to coordinate with state officials on what protocols may be required such as temperature checks for all employees before events, gloves, and masks for all employees, more socially distanced seating arrangements, and more.
COSMOPOLITAN is doing everything in our power to work with our celebrants and loyal customers. Please know that our outdoor events under our 3,000 square foot tent have been very successful. We would be happy to discuss your upcoming event, whether it need be outdoors now or indoors when the state permits us to do so.
Please feel free to contact us at any time to discuss any concerns. In the meantime, stay safe, as we look forward to seeing you soon.
